Dr. Sarah Nissen, O.D.

Sarah Nissen, O.D. earned her Bachelor of Arts in science from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Nissen completed five clinical externships in different modes of optometric and ophthalmologic practice before becoming licensed in 2005. She worked closely with optometrists, refractive surgeons, cataract surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, neuro-ophthalmologists, retinal surgeons, pediatric specialists and glaucoma specialists.
She is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease by the state of Pennsylvania. She enjoys primary eye care and ocular disease management with a special interest in contact lenses.

Mark Cohen, American Board of Opticianry Certified

Optical Manager

Mark, who is a certified optician, has been our optical manager since 1989. He has vast knowledge of vision plans and offers the most up to date technology in ophthalmic lenses. His dispensary carries the latest in fashion and designer frames. He also provides safety and sports wear as well as prescription sunglasses to help patients with all of their eyewear needs. Mark is also skilled in refractive surgery consultation, visual field testing, and contact lens training.

Jenna Oates

Jenna received her training in the US. Army and has been working in optics for seven years. She is currently working as our back up technician. She has training in glasses repair, adjustments, fitting, and frame fashion. She is also trained in the use of optical equipment and frequently performs visual field tests and retinal photography. Jenna also does the contact lens trial and trainings for new contact lens wearers.
